FIRE STATION 35 - CENTENNIAL AIRPORT

Fire Station 35 is located at Arapahoe Road & Peoria Street in Centennial. The area is made up of single and multi family homes, commercial and industrial buildings, open space and the north half of Centennial Airport (the thrid busiest general aviation airport in the US)

ENGINE 35

Engine 35 operates a 1995 Pierce Arrow 4x4 with a 1,000 gallon water tank. The rig is a surplus US Airforce engine which is designed for aircraft firefighting and has a bumpter mounted turret. Engine 35 is first due to most of the Airport and will also respond into Cunningham when needed.

LADDER 35

Ladder 35 operates a 2007 Sutphen with a 100' aerial. Ladder 35 cross-staffs Red 1 and responds as the first due aerial to Cunningham Districts 62 & 63.

Medic 35 operates a 2006 Ford / PL Custom

RESCUE 3

Rescue 3 operates a 1999 E-One walk around rescue and is cross-staffed by Engine 35. The Rescue responds to all heavy extrication calls in the North and South Battalions, and responds district wide to all tech rescue incidents with Rescue 7. The unit has a small light tower and several dozen spare SCBA bottles for use at greater alarm fires.

RED 1

Red 1 operates a 1999 E-ONE Titan II 4x4, 1500 gpm, 1500 gallons of water, 200 gallons of AFFF, 450lbs Purple K. Red 1 is the primary aircraft rescue for the Airport and will also respond district wide when needed for it's 4x4 abilities.

RED 2

Red 2 is a 1999 Ford / F-550 4x4 with a skid unit designed for ARFF. Red 2 is cross staffed with firefighters from Engine & Ladder 35.
